Internet Peering

Summary

OMAN-IX Internet Peering service facilitates direct network interconnections, bringing all networks closer and localizing traffic. Internet traffic is exchanged using only one connection and cross-connect.

How it works?

Internet peering is achieved through an Internet Exchange Point (IXP). By connecting physically to OMAN-IX over an Internet Peering Service, customers are immediately linked to all participating networks through a shared Ethernet fabric. Carriers, ISPs, and CDNs can enhance their internet network's performance, achieving low-latency and cost-effective interconnection.
